Shatner is a genius! | October 31st, 2005
Ok - look I’m not a huge fan of Star Trek ( the original series). I
liked the next generation - but once I got hooked on Babylon 5 - I left
all that behind.
On the other hand I do watch Boston Legal - which Shatner is on…. as a
lawyer.
Now he shows up on the back of the new phone book in San Antonio as part
of an ad for a law firm. I can only wonder how much he made off the ad.
The best part - the lawyer he plays on the show has “mad cow” disease -
now sure what that says about the law firm in the ad - but it’s funny
none the less.

there are tv ads with him in it too… funny stuff.

I noticed him in the TV commercials a week or so ago. As I also watch Boston Legal regularly, I was amused at the fact that he was sales-pitching for a law firm. The best part about the TV ad was that he spoke and acted very seriously. If you know his character on the TV show you would probably expect him to give a serious conversation with one of those fake arrows going through his head, or perhaps wielding a handgun of some sorts.
