One Step Closer To Git | March 20th, 2008
Ok so it looks like Mac OS X tools are starting to show up - Home — gitnub — GitHub
(Since a big contingent of the devs I work with are on Macs this makes me feel a little better).
Now if only I could have externals behave properly when I sync out of the the main SVN server - I’d be happy (able) to spend all my time in git….

Hi, I’m François, the author of Piston. Piston is a tool that replaces SVN externals with a copy of the vendor branch. I’d advise investigating http://piston.rubyforge.org/. The next version of Piston, 2.0 which I’m working on just now, will feature integration with SVN, Git, SVK and any other repository/working copy which has the proper backend built-in. I hope this helps !
